Fetch is massively 10 in 10 friendly, but I can't think of a better way to alienate people than by spam.

Back to Richmond...About the person left out on the course....I hope the organizers send her a medal, T-shirt, mug and some kind of other prize and give her a special mention on the website for finishing. If there was a 6:00 hour cut of point that most definitely should have been very clearly stated on the website/race instructions and I don't think it was. Yes one can always ask. Kind of weird if she was an experienced runner and race organizer that she didn't check on this... I even asked if there was a cut off time myself via email, but didn't get a reponse to that particular query -- although I figured I'd be OK barring injury disaster so I didn't follow up on it myself. There was quite a lot of "pre-race admin" that failed to happen in my opinion! Maybe next year I'll volunteer as a secretary.

I ALWAYS ask about a cut off, as a slower runner

I am sure they will be sending a medal and t shirt to her-i do hope so!
I came in at 4.48 and was pretty much at the back, so wouldnt call this a slower runner friendly marathon really

By the way, did anyone else get accosted by the drunk guy staggering along the path with a flask somewhere in the second half of the full lap? He stared me in the eyes and mumbled, "I'm going to f-ing kill you". I thought, "Really? You'll have to catch me first."

(As far as I know he was not affiliated with the Royal Parks, the Marathon, nor any of its organiziners or sponsors. Unless he was a very disgruntled marshall, of course).
