Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

well I managed 2 hours of turbo, 30 Zwiftmiles. Walkie still to do so probably just under 70 total which is better than I thought I'd do.

I discovered the static bikes at my gym to help with this. Not a cyclist so 20k sessions were pretty hard. Including on my bum!

Two hours would be hell for me…

Finally completed the challenge and got the badge this morning and just about managed to avoid the worst of the rain.

Got over 200 miles today, yay! Lots of cycling, 138 miles plus 57 miles of running and 15 miles of walking. Happy with that, new PB in this. Not sure I'll beat that next year, I set the bar pretty high.

57.5 Days of Xmas
17th to complete. Nearly stymied by the ice, snow and a dodgy calf, there was over 100k to do at 1pm yesterday. But milder conditions that lunchtime and after work, plus finding a relatively ice and traffic free bike route today after an overnight freeze let me finish just before dark this evening.

I also completed this with 222 miles but only 11 of that was running 😳😳😳 Nearly all of it was done on the bike outside with a couple of Zwift sessions as well.

Well done everyone on getting out and doing stuff whether you completed all, half, or just got some fresh air amongst the mince pies!!!

I've completed it on foot (173.5km running, 6.6km walking), as has The wee beastie . I did the Rapha Festive 500 last year, all outdoors, and this was just about as hard although without the need to be outside in foul weather for quite as long as on the bike.

I can remember that about 6 or 7 years ago, strava had a similar festive running challenge which might've been 200km. I'm fairly sure that a few nutters (in the Southern hemisphere probably) did both.

Well done! 87.2. The bailed bike on Boxing day did it. The galling thing is I did 79 miles of stuff up to the 25th, but only 40 or so after. It was always going to be that way.

Good work everyone who had a go.

Same again next year, only 358 days to go!

About This Thread

HBTC / Smell-of-220 and Genius of Love invite Fetchies to log 100 moles (160.934km) of 'stuff'* on the eight days from Christmas Eve through New Year's Eve**.

If that sounds a bit lame, you may instead decide to chase a completely arbitrary self-imposed year-end molesage target.

No prizes, no glitz, no glamour. Simply a way to motivate ourselves and each other to get off the couch and away from the fridge at the most slothful and gluttonous time of the year

We don't care how you get there. Just get there if you can.

*(cycling/running/swimming/kayaking/whatever)

**thanks to the good and noble folk at Rapha - and especially the mighty RCC - for the idea, which started life as the Rapha #FESTIVE500.
