Thanks for the tip about warmshowers - that is an amazing site, and worldwide!
It would be fun to do the same for walkers/runners, but that's way beyond my capabilities at the moment. Keep it simple...

May I suggest a spreadsheet that shows the first half of a Fetchy's home postcode? That's not enough data to help your average axe murderer but handy for anyone planning an expedition.

Excellent idea Helegant, Daisy Towers and Daisy Towers-on-Sea can help with this.

OK, I can produce a simple spreadsheet as required. How do we attach it to the thread?

Could we have an 'Offers' and a 'Wants' spreadsheet or document? I'm not entirely comfortable even with only half my postcode about being permanently on an 'offers' document - mainly due to availability - but I'd be quite happy to make an offer to a 'scheduled' want if I definitely knew I could accommodate someone at that particular time - and like LD that could be at home or at the holiday let if it was available too.

Should it just be by county and the visitor the gets in contact for further info. The spreadsheet could contain info like level of accommodation (room or lawn available) and if there is a dog or cat

Maybe we could have a box where people could indicate if they are, or have ever been an axe murderer, and if so, if they have plans for any future axe murdering?

The tick box would definitely work - but perhaps with an 'Are you sure?' popup, just for legal cover.
