Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Might be good to have it for races too - I could volunteer fetch bnb for races starting or finishing at qe park like air bnb but freeee. As long as no one gets uppity if I don't fancy it that weekend :-)

A couple of pages previously the suggestion was made that any detail be made available by county. I'd advise against that. I live in Lancashire. Blackburn is both in and not in Lancashire. Some believe that St. Helens is in Lancs. Others believe it is in Merseyside. There are parts of Lancashire east of Clitheroe where some believe they are in the West Riding of Yorkshire. Postcodes are easy. And don't get me started on Middlesex.

I live in Suffolk. Most definitely in Suffolk. The fact that my postal town and post code are still in Essex according to the Royal Mail is disappointing to say the least... ;-)

OK, still thinking (and have been a bit busy with other stuff too), but just to confirm that warmshowers is OK to look at when at work, despite the name. I think it's the gold-plated version of my imaginings, so I'm looking for a fablon and wire coat-hanger version to start us off.

There is also this website, which seems like a similar idea, but its not free accommodation. search.runningrooms.co.uk
I've never used it and I'm not sure if it's actually actively used by anyone as there doesn't seem to be any recent updates to the website
