Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Suppose there were an option on our Fetch profile that allowed us to indicate that we are open to being contacted (subject to all the usual caveats about it being at own risk, no obligation etc).

Suppose there were a map that showed, in general terms, which Fetchies are in each area.
What would be the minimum information we would need to include?

You can camp in my garden and I might also have a spare room or two depending on whether the children are home. Might be best to search by county or city first then work from there by fmail for detailed arrangements.

First part of Post Code so that people could tell where it is in relation to any given route i.e LeJog.

I thought there was a Fetchies near you thingy on the website somewhere. If there is, anyone could just message them couldn't they? It would be up to the recipient to reply/not reply.

Bizarrely that shows ChrisHB and MoreBeer as closer to me than my wife!

Actually, that tool looks very inaccurate. It alleges a list of Fetchies who are less than a marathon away, for example Just Commando and Serendipilly. I realise this is 'as the crow flies' but JC is in Reading or thereabouts which is about 35 miles away in a straight line. Seren is in Petersfield which is 36 miles.

Also the Fetchies near you would really need an opposite number - Fetchies furthest away from you - to make the BnB thing work well.
