For example I would help if I could but there would be various factors to consider. If I saw a Fetchie who hates or is allergic to dogs was doing a long distance walk right past my house I wouldn't offer them accommodation because I have a dog. But in other circumstances if a Fetchie was doing a walk and the route took them nearish (say 10/15 miles) then I might be prepared to offer something and go and pick them up/drop them back from their route.
