Son says "Rob Salter at Nuffield, runs for NFR. He gave me a free check over last summer. If they're after a proper running specialist then Andrew Swinburne (the person I'm currently seeing, also Rob's boss) at activate physio"

@paulcook Margarita is my coach and my wife's S&C coach. I'd definitely recommend her too although she's not NE based any more so can't do hands on/F2F work.

Just to let you know @larkim my wife went to see one of your son's suggestions (Rob) yesterday (she had initially booked him for next week or the week after, but he had a cancellation), and she was very pleased with the session. So thanks, and thanks to your son, too.

Any fetchies at Edale Skyline this weekend? Assuming the youngster is fit and healthy, he's heading down from the NE to the Peaks and we're heading over from Cheshire to spectate (as best you can on a 21 mile fell race!), maybe provide support and encouragement and even do a bit of running on fells ourselves. btw, anyone know what the rules / protocols might be about providing support mid-race in English Champs races? Don't want him getting DQ'd but providing him with a bottle or some fuel at a convenient spot had crossed my mind, or even just stashing a bag of food or similar at a suitable point mid race might be helpful and welcome. But obvs would do neither of those things if it is rule breaking (or even just "not the done thing"). |
