Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Yes, ran Centre Vale there; one of a couple of 250 t-shirts. Wonder if you've got any photos of my offspring - purple / green NFR vest to clash nicely with his ginger hair!

Would have said hello if we'd realised :-)

I've got nearly 1000 photos, so should have got everyone! Will get them up onto the event FB page over the next few days.

Fab, have been scouring websites for "official" photos but turned up nowt so far. Can't complain though, the results were out the moment they all finished which feels like a novelty.

Oh the joys of youth. Offspring headed down to Pendle Cloughs this weekend; Friday night train from Newcastle to Preston, with bike-packing bike loaded up. Wild camped Friday night, raced Pendle Cloughs in the heat of Saturday, had an ice-cream, cycled up to near Hawes, wild camped, cycled the remaining 85 miles back to Newcastle on Sunday.

Good effort. Sounds like one of Finlay's impressive efforts. Hope he did well again.

I mainly got pissed and played football at that age. As much as I don't regret, I do wonder how much more I'd have enjoyed running if I'd persisted more running/cycling at that age too.

While we're talking fell races, can I give a plug for the Pen y Ghent fell race on 1st June? I will be marshalling and ready to hurl encouragement/abuse at anyone daft enough to identify themselves :-)
