Oh yes good call we said sun cream then forgot to pack it! We have tools in the back OH can deal with those. And yes to gin too! Haha. Could do with sourcing some camping pans as I’m sure they’d take up less room. |

We use Ridge Monkey pans and their sort of grill thing, which means you can make toast in the pan if you want to. Not as space saving as some options, but we wanted something reliable for cooking or heating up food that we'd prepared. @Rosehip @Ally-C - those look like lovely locations. Our van is out of action now until the end of July. Could have got it booked in for a fix a bit earlier, but Mr S needs to be on call earlier in July, so wouldn't be using it anyway. Will be looking for B&B or similar for a quick getaway next weekend. |

It is @Angus Clydesdale. Pity about the big group of tourists that arrived late at their cabins and woke everyone up. I think they were from India and had no concept of campsite etiquette.

Having breakfast in Lindisfarne car park. Love being able to get up and leave within half an hour and use the van during days out - no fretting about what I need to pack or keeping the lunch cool ![]() |
