Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Saw two swallows this morning, very near home. Probably just passing through, and definitely heading south in the wind and rain.

Beautiful walk around the river this morning, loads of birds. The ongoing hamstring issues means a few days off running. The upside is more time to take in some of the wildlife on the walk around the river. only have a compact camera, but hopefully these give a flavour of some the birds this morning. Saw the buzzard, the signets, cormorants and oystercatchers, the heron, more oystercatchers with a little egret snuck into the corner of the photo. Loads more that I was unable to identify at a distance.

Nice pictures bonners.

A few more swallows today near Morpeth. Sunny, but cool, and loads of flies (it was on a farm).

Nice photos bonners; sometimes an injury gives us the chance to slow down and look a bit more although I always try to be alert to what's about even on harder runs.
Chiffchaff singing in the garden but not seen any Swallows for a day or two.
No Redwings yet!
