Nice cider with a view today, whilst out for lunch. Never used to drink cider too much when I was a boozer, but I had a couple of these today and enjoyed them a lot.

Do you think regular cider, with alcohol, tastes like appleade? :) I enjoyed it a lot and on a hot day overlooking the beach it was great in my opinion.

No, was just wondering if without alcohol it did. Can't beat a nice cold cider on a hot day. I've tried quite a few alco-free beers but never cider.

Thanks for the recommendation - the only alco-free cider I've ever tried was horribly sweet.

Had this today in Spain. It was really good. The bar only had one can left though :(

LindsD, looks good! I like the different ones when abroad.

sallykate, to my taste, this one wasn’t sweet - I just saw on their site that they have it as Medium-Dry. The bottle did specifically say about sulphites being added, which I believe some are concerned about, so I thought I’d mention it, but they’re there in Thatchers Gold too. I’ve just googled the Zero version and it gets good reviews on DryDrinker (4.87/5 from 15 reviews) and I’ll definitely be on the lookout for it again on a summer’s day.

I had a couple of cans of the Guinness zero at the weekend and was disappointed after I'd heard so many people saying how good it was. I thought it had an odd taste common to many AF beers, and not just as an aftertaste. I didn't finish the second can.

In fairness, all cans of Guinness have a weird taste, I think it's their attempt to make it less watery and a bit creamier as it is on draught. The only one they got it right on was the bitter they did for a while in the green cans.
