Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I can’t find it, but it was 4 years ago. Probably best to ask on the yoga thread.
It was simply: feet shoulder with apart ish, knees slightly bent. Lean forward at the waist and reach for your toes. When you get to the furthest point you can, relax and hang there for about 30 seconds. Nice big breathes in and out. After 30 seconds, make your arms into a cradle and gently rock them side to side, with nice big breathes. After 30 seconds hug yourself around the waist, remaining bent over, and gently move your upper body side to side. It works hamstrung, back hips etc very gently. Then repeat and you’ll find an almost instant improvement in flexibility.

I would watch a video first, rather than rely on my description.

Jokes aside, I can touch my toes on a good day. I find that rolling a tennis ball under each foot for a minute, pressing quite hard on it, has an almost magical loosening effect. Something to do with the lymph fluid, if I recall correctly (happy to be corrected).

I've been slacking since Christmas - I did some pushups all but 7 days in 2020, and my shoulder decided it had had enough while I was driving home Christmas Day! I keep telling my wife we should get an automatic. 😂

Easing back into it now though, 21 today.
