Not planning to run this year, but will be there as part of the organising committee
Recurrent hip flexor/upper left quad issue came back at about mile 7.5.
Hills hard, but not quite as hard as expected. Downhills easier than expected!
Challenging but enjoyable race in good conditions. 1st FV50 and 5th lady.
Perfect weather. I was on dayshift at the time and in good condition. Was a bit late arriving, so lots of dashing about to get ready. Started a bit slow, but ran well and strong right to the end without once looking at the watch. In fact I didn't even start the timer.
Ran way way way too fast up the hill, folk started passing me along the Swanley stretch towards halfway, I was sore and slow heading back. Needed to run last 3 miles at 7min/mile to get under 1:40:00.
