Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I am fundraising for CAFOD

I'm taking part in the Robin Hood Marathon on 13th September 2009 to raise money for CAFOD and I'd really appreciate your support.

CAFOD is the Catholic Agency for Overseas Development, the official international development and relief agency of the Catholic Church in England and Wales, and has been fighting poverty in developing countries for over 40 years.

CAFOD raises funds so that it can:

work alongside people in need to reduce poverty and bring about sustainable change through development and humanitarian programmes;
increase understanding of the causes of poverty and injustice;
challenge governments and international bodies to adopt policies that promote social justice and end poverty.

It believes all human beings have a right to dignity and respect and that the world's resources are a gift to be shared equally by all men and women, whatever their race, nationality or religion.

About Me

I started running in February 2007, entering the British 10k in London for July 07. I was totally unfit and overweight at the time, but went for it and caught the bug big time! I've completed two marathons now but love running any distance. By the way, I love this site!

Current Status

2014 is going to be a good running year!
