Alun Hoping for around 70 mins as I'd previously done the Cock Inn 10 (Hilly trail race) in 77 mins.

Woke up at 7:30 feeling tired and a bit heady but decided to run anyway, ran well to about 6 miles then began to tire in the wind along the Green Street Green road towards the last mile climb. Crossed the line in around 72 mins but not really disappointed given that I wasn't feeling 100% Medway & Maidstone AC 1:02:58 1:12:12 1:10:00 1:12:12 63.32

Ginger N I smashed my Pb by about 14mins! Nice race the hills aren't that bad and allow for a really fast 2nd half. Got abit stuck at the start as the narrow steepdown hill section didn't allow for overtaking. I'm going closer to the front next time! Beckenham RC 58:46 1:09:30 1:12:00 1:09:30 63.31

PhilPub D'oh! 7 seconds outside the hour. Curse that pesky wind! I knew about the last uphill drag from running it last year, and still nearly managed a six minute last mile (which nearly killed me). Still, 10th overall and happy with the performance. There's a sub-60 10 miles in me somewhere! Kent AC 54:06 1:00:07 59:59 1:00:07 73.66

Scooby Dave (#551) Perfect pacing for me as a FLM practice. Great organisation (cheers Dave) and good value at £12 compared to some races. Much better T-shirt than in previous years.

stephenV longest race since FLM 2006. Injury dogged since then so anything under 1h20m will be a plus. UPDATE wating for chip time confirmation. I'm a happy bunny as my fitness is close to where it was 2 years ago. Now for that sub 1.40 HM at Reading. A brilliantly organised race and a bargain at £11 for on the day entry. ugly first race in ages, miss loads through various injuries, have a pb 1hr 00mins 47 secs, done this race few years back, didn't enjoy the downhill start, liked the hills though(up that is)did 1hr 05mis last time, will try for this again

My comeback complete, and all done without any mishaps(injuries).Biked the 7 miles to Dartford, started run steady 8min miling, after 2miles put in a 6:20 and then later a 6:57 which was a hilly mile.Kept up a decent pace then, feels quicker than it actually is until i get proper fit,one thing for sure is i tried very hard and thoroughly enjoyed my run.Biked home after, abit sore but also very tired, nap on return.Beware the Ironman is back!!! new eltham joggers 1:00:34 1:10:21 1:07:30 1:10:21 68.81
