Heating on our commuter train despite 30c temps! I honestly thought I was going to pass out. No doubt once the winter sets in the heating will stop functioning as per usual!

Drive-by drenching from a c*** in the passenger seat of a passing van, who did himself a massive favour by declining my gestured invitation to come back and discuss the matter man to man, toe to toe.

At least it was only water. 😣

Revenge will be mine. Although there are lots of white vans about, if, to borrow from Pulp Fiction, I execute every muthaf***ing last one of you, sooner or later I'll get the right one.

If you hear of a series of mystery deaths in north London and Herts, linked only by the fact the victim was sitting in the passenger seat of a tatty old Ford Transit... You ain't seen me, right?

Fitz:

It is illegal to splash a pedestrian with water from the road whilst driving your car. And you can get a fixed penalty notice for doing so. In a few cases people have been handed tickets for public order offences after deliberately driving through puddles to target pedestrians.

[Did the vehicle drive through a puddle? The drenching was delivered by a passenger of the van - so did he throw water at you?)

The latter, squirted from a bottle I guess. Funnily enough my initial reaction was to look down behind me, expecting to see a puddle. Then realisation dawned but it was too late to capture the reg number of the van.

Children playing in the road and sitting on my wall - actually I don't mind that but they chuck rubbish in my garden. They live within a minute or so of here and the other day Mrs W put the recycle bin out next to them as it was bin day. They still threw a plastic bottle in the garden instead of putting it in our bin or their bin or something. Today there is an empty tin of Tango in the flowerbed - I don't remember planting a Tango plant.

The problem is I don't know which kid threw which bit of rubbish so I can't complain to the parents and I don't want to be the strange mad grumpy man who shouts at kids (any more than I am already).
