Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The use of the term "play date". Since when did a friends kid coming round to play with your kid suddenly morph into the Americanised "play date". FFS it's just kids playing together. This also annoys me as much as the term "date night".

I think going to a prostitute should be renamed a "sex date"

People who talk about going out somewhere with one of their kids as a 'date'. Shudder. Inappropriate.

Bureaucracy, especially as I struggle to spell it. I also hate that I have to do all the admin while Mrs D gets all frustrated and moans about it.

People who think the way to get notifications when an FB post is commented on is to comment "Following". 139 notifications of comments, maybe two with actual content.

[It's of professional interest and I would like to appear to know more about it than the elf and safety people, but am beginning to wonder if it's worth the hassle].

I do seem to be grinding my gears a lot the last week. Maybe I should oil myself.

Getting 14 race alerts to my work e-mail address. All at regular intervals and for the same event. And no, I won't be doing it either.
