Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I thought that was what Jono meant.

I completely agree Ultracat. (What website is that? It's not *cough cough* RW is it?)

I would also add to that:
a) the assumption that we can all hate the Germans - usually because of Football or a war that happened 75 years ago
b) the hatred of English people just because they come from England.

The barbecue hardware etc in my local Co-op has been cleared from its space and piled up on special.

Fair enough, summer's ending, days are cooler, but ...

It's been replaced by selection boxes :-o!

My local Tesco had chocolate Santa's in a few weeks ago. I saw Christmas cards in M&S last week.

"Just a quick question."

When someone starts with this, you know it's not going to have a quick and simple answer.

[ I am going to my GP tomorrow with exactly that in mind, and I am sure it will have a quick and simple answer of the yes/no variety, i.e. it's nothing or I'll send you for some tests. ]

People who complain about people uttering the Christmas word. I mean, I'm no fan of Christmas conversation being early, but it's just as tedious listening to people complain about it.
