Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

MoD Civil Servants are quite poorly paid, usual public sector pay scales, same as nurses, etc. It's the military who are on a good wage but I would argue we earn it!

G it's people in my club telling me they did 18 miles in 3 hours 20 a week before a marathon after no training hoping for a good time. There are load of people doing it wrong (I do too but thats through lack of training) a woman I went on a long run with 'left' me to keep up the 8.30 pace only to do a 4.35 marathon. She used to do all her long runs at 8.30 pace the same as her general runs the only other pace she did was very fast in intervals but she would die during them. Her first Marathon was 4.45 so tell me why her long runs were that pace FFS

I totally agree with your analysis of their poor training approach HoD. But I find it doesn't grind my gears that much. Their problem, not mine, is how I tend to think of it! But it's allowed to grind your gears mate! :-) G

Being stuck in an airport for 8 hours. Being on standby for the last flight home at 21:15, still not knowing whether its another night here, or a stupidly late get home time.

Thanks Gonzalo you arsewipe...
