Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

My Garmin's normal inability to communicate between its various components. Not to mention its quirky idea of what does and does not constitute a pressing of its buttons or a swipe of its bezel.

Winded
Huntingdon Road, Cambridge today - dusk, cyclist with no lights, black bike, black hair (visible as no helmet), black trousers and to top it off - to go beyond the norm is seeking a Darwin Award he was wearing a camouflage jacket! I nearly stopped to take a photo but he blended in with the background so well it would have been pointless.

Ninja cyclist Winded!

People who just assume things. Don't assume - check!!
Person X thinks that person Y won't like or want to do something so won't find out. How do you know? Ask them!
An item supposedly costs more than somewhere else so won't bother looking. Go and find out!

Here in Bristol we have a fair few cyclists who follow the road rules and dress accordingly.
... but we still have the pavement people in full regalia with lights.
... also people who cycle too quickly on shared ped/cycle areas.

Not that I'm in agreement with that sort of arrangement. The 2 don't mix I reckon.
