Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I've found Hermes to be terrible. They are known for just lobbing parcels over the fence. There was a story in the paper the other day about someone getting a delivery card to inform them that their parcel was on the roof, they'd tried to chuck it over the house into the garden.

I have had three parcels delivered by them. One they just left on the doorstep in full view of anyone who wanted to pilfer it, one they left with a random neighbour who lived halfway up the road and who I'd never previously spoken to. The third time I happened to be home and in the hallway when they knocked once and immediately tried the handle, presumably planning to just walk into my house. When I answered the door it was some woman who looked like a crack addict. The requirements to work as a delivery driver for Hermes is Owns a Car. I would now never order something if I knew Hermes was the delivery company.

blu-Ray, hear your pain Fitz, it seems like we need to constantly update the software. My brother, who will describe himself as a luddite, threw his away and bought a normal dvd player. For me, still have a VHS and Betamax - love the charity shops, like a cheap Blockbuster, 10p videos watch and take back - everyone's happy!

Just left the Ministry of Defence where all the emphasis is about passing Project Management courses MSP, PRINCE2, APMP, APMPQ etc. When asked why leaving, told them how about throwing some money at management and leadership courses instead - at the end of the day no project will work without human relationships!
