Why do people lie even when they must know will be found out?
I waited in all day for a delivery, the company (utility) had been very insistant that I had to receive it today pending installation of product on Monday…. Dire consequences if product was not on hand for him etc etc
I was able to track parcel which had been returned to depot because I was not in when they tried to deliver – apparently …. WTF?
This kind of behaviour as well as the ‘we will come and do the job we promised on this day’ and then they just don’t turn up, must cause so much strain on the nation’s mental health.
I have wasted so much time and I’m so angry that I have not been productive today, which multiplied up across the country must badly affect national productivity.
Why do some people care so little for their customers/ their job, its tragic.

Cheers both. I also know where Dvorak is coming from.
There is a Mrd though! He's quicker than me (not that I am stalking him, or anyone else!).
It could have been worse and it has knacked today and probably tomorrow and 2-3 hours on the phone get shuffled round various call centres wasn't ideal and I had the afternoon booked off work, so the plans for that were out, but no one died and it's just a bit of metal. But we have had that bit of metal for nearly ten years.

The BA check-in guy who obviously thought it hilarious to place a stinking 20 stone behemoth in the middle seat. And yet have a guy sitting by himself two rows back. (I did move when I discovered this- could still smell the behemoth though.

Might have said this before.
Guys in the Gym who approach a machine (obviously the one I want to go on) and then stand next to it faffing about for 5 mins with their phone/MP3, so no-one else can use it. Then sit dfown on it and continue with faffage! I could have been and gone!
Programming your phone/MP3 is not exercise!

Me and son in queue for some 20 mins, 5 desks "open", but only 3 actually dealing with customers???? WTF - don't rub our noses in it by doing something else and ignoring the long bloody queue!
I do have some sympathy with some of the staff, as the number of people who were dealt with in front of me who could not speak basic English was astounding. I must have heard one girl asking the same question to one gentleman at least 5 times.
Then, to add insult to injury, the one chap at the till that seemed to be most efficient then just walked off, I assume going on a break!!! The queue was just getting longer.
I'm sure the same happens in other banks as well though!
