Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Two very ignorant mountain bikers who could have caused a very nasty accident pelting down the path by Latrigg this afternoon.

"up to" in adverts, as in "up to 100% effective".

Oh the irony. Recently I've been out and about and witnessed lots of gear grinders. By the time I get home to post them, I've forgotten what they were.

My gears are ground by my inability to remember the gear-grinders!

Kippers who complain the "debate" (such as it is) on immigration is being "closed down", when in reality it's been heard for the last few years at the expense of other issues.

Drivers waiting to turn right from a main road to a sideroad flashing someone out of the side road who pulls out directly in front of me without checking causing my car to hit theirs and me to hit my airbag. flashing driver scarpers and as I get out I have to step back to avoid an impatient **** who is half on the pavement and driving around the crash. He got a choice selection of comments. The other driver is upset, admits blame, but not hurt. Look at my (wifes) car it looks ******. Worst of all I start to worry that whiplash will.put pay to the weekend long run.
