Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The people in a road near here who have one car on their drive and put their second one on the drop kerb pointing towards their house and completely blocking the path, so I have to walk round the back of it on the road or get into their garden round the front of it. There are several who do this and it's really winding me up.

I could report the butter exaggerators to the Trades Descriptions Act. Who da f**k invented margarine anyway and why? Disgusting slime.

I think ... hasn't margarine been banned by the EU? It has to be called spread because it's not technically marge.

That may be a made up fact but I think I saw it on QI

People who use 'myself' and 'yourself' to mean 'me' and 'you', thinking it makes them sound more important or formal or something. No, I WON'T get in touch with 'yourself' or ask to speak to 'yourself', let alone 'revert to yourself' because the only person who can do that is YOU!

Hanging the washing out on the line with lots of near-identical pairs of black socks neatly paired up.

The washing not being *quite* dry when the air temperature starts to fall.

Having to match all the socks up again when they've had a little finishing-off tumble in the dryer.
