BT…. I discovered that I’ve been paying for a Friends & Families Call package that has been included for free in our basic landline package for several years. Whilst speaking to BT to get it cancelled as I couldn’t do it on line, I was told that the Voicemail and Call Protect package that we pay for is also included free in our basic package. Grrr….. |

Ditto on a regular basis - but here is a story from a former work colleague on printers. He needed a new printer and chose a cheap HP one (£35), including two ink cartridges, he looked up the cost of the cartridges for when hecneeds a replacement to find they are £46 😳 - so he will just buy a new printer whenever the ink runs out 😳😳🤷♂️☹️ |

um
[[ macca - you may want to warn him that the cartridges in new printers are normally mini ones, a lot smaller than the std size. HP Instant Ink is still (until they put the prices up again) a good deal, if you're printing/copying a regular amount (eg >50 pages a month or so) ]] |

That everything needs to be connected to a device these days, including appliances and simpler things like a kiddies night light.

I quite like that. I buy Samsung now so that I can connect it to Smart Things app. I also buy sockets so that I can connect other devices to an app that would not normally connect.

Yes, apps too. The school have asked us to download apps but so far we have not used them. A waste of time and money.
