Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Train passengers who don’t let passengers alight first.

When it did become such a thing to crowd around doors so nobody can even get off.

Companies that say an item has been "dispatched" but really all they mean is they've generated a Royal Mail number and it hasn't actually been sent yet. so even if it's a 48 hour delivery it could be a few days until it's even on its way (had an item that was "dispatched" on Thursday, for which i had to pay postage for a 48 hour service. RM are still awaiting the item, where I'd have expected to have it by now from the dispatch info)

I know it's been said before, but the anthropomorphism (and, yes, I did have to look that word up!) of pets. Email today from Pets at Home ... is Poppy ready for Christmas? No she bleeping well isn't ... she's a dog! And, no, she will most definitely not be wearing a Christmas themed jumper on Christmas jumper day! She's a dog!!!

Yes I know Christmas won't be the same without Shane McGowan.

But at least we get to celebrate it, unlike the tens of thousands that Hancock admitted died prematurely because your Government couldn't be bothered to lock down.

Care to comment on that?

Happy Christmas

For those other than personal friends and family of Shane MacGowan, Christmas will be exactly the same. It's not as if anyone's going to stop playing 'Fairytale Of New York'.

My dog doesn't give a flying fart about Christmas. Or anything unless it interrupts walks and playtime and treats.

Actually I came here to put two things on the list:

1) My toaster. 5 minutes: warmish bread. 5 minutes and one second: irretrievably burnt toast.

2) The toilet at work. Upon flushing it uses a lot of water with great enthusiasm, which gives the contents of the bowl an exciting swoosh around without actually taking it down the soil pipe. And there's only one between about 30 people.

On 18 December, it will be 23 years since Kirsty MacColl was killed by a powerboat whilst diving, at the age of 41.

Folk going door to door trying to get you to donate to some charity you have never heard of. Also turning up at an inconvenient time.
