[My wife has started getting stuff in. We've got the Roses and the Quality Street.] I got those too. They're always 50p to £1 cheaper when they first come on sale.
[I spotted real trees for sale in our Morrison’s yesterday - I wonder what the chances are of them still having needles on by Christmas?] It'll be fine if you leave it outside until you are ready to use it.

Sigh
Black Friday.
I tried to say "Bloody Black Friday" this morning, as yet another misleading promotional email landed, and it came out as "Bloody Brack Fliday" - it's that annoying and I can't even curse it properly.

A local radio station holding a challenge to see if a producer can eat 6 burgers, chips, onion rings, mac’n’cheese & more in 20 minutes.
How totally inappropriate is this sort of challenge in these times, force feeding yourself with food that you don’t need, and didn’t successfully succeed anyway.
On Children In Need day (think what you like about the fundraising) it’s hardly a great message to be sending out.

Good heavens that's a throwback to the 60s or 70s! I'm amazed that got the go-ahead.

Wasn't there a series called 'Man vs Food', an American production, unsurprisingly?

People at airport security who repack their bags on the belt and/or don’t clear their trays, so that nobody else’s stuff can come through

Also people who stand right next to the baggage carousel, where if they all just took one step back everybody would be able to see/get access (think I’ve ranted about that before. Drives me nuts)
