"Plant based food." Sorry, but plants belong in a pot in your living room window. We eat vegetables.

Similar to Chris - my electric car charger which tells me how many miles it thinks it's added rather than how many kWh. When I have it on the solar option charging from my house panels it doesn't know what my car is, so doesn't know how many miles it does to the kWh.

Me: What are the stocks like on the two chemicals you'll need for those studies? Is it enough for the experiments you're going to run for A? PersonSeniorEnoughToKnowBetter: I don't know M: ok, well, their group should pay for anything that's needed, so check the stocks and ask the head if they need more. No, wait, ask S who is their lab manager and handles all the orders. PSETKB: I don't know who does their orders and who they should talk to. Me, more loudly: Ask S who is their lab manager and handles all the orders. PSETKB: Oh I have a good idea, maybe S would know.

Both neighbours back from their holidays and have their windows wide open. I now have to try and work listening to crying, screaming children and, in some cases, parents as well.
