The appointment letter said: "The doctor may need to use eye drops which could blur your eyes and affect your driving." Much debate about what to do, as we've not left the puppy home alone yet. Thankfully it was half term, so daughter could watch the pup and wife drove me. At the hospital, I see a nurse, who says: "Oh, you never see the doctor on your first appointment, that's at the second appointment." Well, thanks - so glad I didn't pay for a taxi then!!

OK, so I'm greedy, and when I spotted Anchor Butter at a (very good) Clubcard special price I snapped up 6 blocks on my shopping. Almost too good to be true. 2 weeks later, when I got some out of the freezer, I find they've decreased the size. So my bargain would have been a bargain for 250g of butter. For 200g, not so much, if at all
