Unfortunately there is another 'Fetch Street' only a mile and a half down the road. The postcodes for each only differ by 2 digits but there is a difference! We regularly have to turn away the parcels for the similarly numbered house on that street!] Who was it in the council thought it was ok to give two streets the same name when they are so close to each other?

Frequently I get a message saying a parcel has been delivered, with a photo of it propped against a random door that I don’t recognise. I then have to go for a walk around the village to see if I can find the door!

I once came home from work to find a skip on our drive and, two days later, a lorry driver insisting that he had a load of double glazing for us!!
