Equivalent journey by train (on a Sunday) drive 30 mins to nearest big town to avoid bus replacement service, pay to park car. Train journey takes approx 3 and a half hours and costs £170 for 2 people and still have to get from station to destination. Return journey entails the same additional legs. It’s neither practical or affordable.
