'Free' photo tiles (and the like) ... just pay postage ... strange that cheapest postage option is £7.99! Not really free then?

Fragile Do Not Bend
I have my own route around the local supermarket, mostly because I have a preferred way to pack my bags (I scan and bag as I go). For instance the 6 packs of yogurts are quite big so need to go at the bottom of a bag so that’s one of the first things I pick up, but the yogurt aisle is in the middle of the shop… ![]() |

People who don't put their trolley away properly in the little trolley shelter. There were 5 in Tesco, each one separate so they were poking out into the carpark. I added mine and shoved them all together, neatly. |

Adding to that - people who add their trolley to the end of the longest line in the returny bit, even though that makes the line stick out and block the car park. Even more so, cretins who add their trolley to a line which is already sticking out and causing an obstruction. There's always a shorter line, in my head experience, or even an empty one which is being blocked by sideways drifting of the over long line(s). |

cackleberry That does my head in. Or the lazy bandits that just leave it next to where they emptied it which usually means another parking space. |

Sigh
My supermarket annoyance today (about 3pm in Tesco at Hanley): the person in front of me had three items, but rather than pay for them at a 'quick service' till, she queued to be served by a real person but held her items until it was time to pay for them, and stood at the far end of the conveyor belt until it was her turn so no-one else could start unloading their trolleys. Once she went through, we unloaded as fast as we could, and the queue which was snaking back up an adjacent aisle into the store began to clear.

An old and oft repeated pet peeve: Toilet door handle triers. The door is firmly shut and a red disc showing to indicate the facility is engaged. Why do some people have to try the handle anyway, sometimes twice? Just fuck off! (You can tell how much this winds me up.) |
