Absolutely bugs the hell out of me Wine Legs. How selfish/entitled do you have to be to think you’ve got a right to inflict your music on everyone else?
[Sadly I think this may be becoming a minority opinion, I’ve seen so many people on running groups defend their right to blare out their music as “what are they supposed to do if headphones aren’t allowed?” 🙄, and then suggest that anyone who doesn’t want to hear whatever pap they want to listen to - as it is always utter dross - is some sort of killjoy. Grrr!]

Rapidly approaching 2 decades of noise complaints in my job and STILL not managed to record any decent music on our recording equipment. Many occurrences of other types of <ahem> 'nocturnal noises' shall we say however ....😳]

The phrase “I’ve got your back”. I can cope with the sentiment but the phrase sets my teeth on edge

[SsH - that sentence could be the final straw etc., as i gesticulate at the tv, tear my hair while viewing posts on 'certain' media sites, and despair, as big tech levels much of society down into a beige coloured swamp of insignificance, edged with irrelevance.
...and breathe out s l o w l y... ]

The car parked opposite my house with its engine running, playing utter shite music loudly. I'm exhausted and just got into bed.

I agree with all the shared music activities - on runs, from cars, in gardens, etc. This selfish behaviour makes my blood boil and the music is always shit.

Stupid news articles. I saw one today (but did not bother reading it) from the Daily Mail website entitled 'Ed Sheeran holds hands with his wife in Paris.'
Other so-called news including soap opera updates/spoilers, what someone wore, someone's weight loss, what someone looks like without make up or anything about the Beckhams also get on my wick.

Our local rag regularly runs exciting stories about the cast of Corrie going about their mundane business (or otherwise). Comments on their Facebook statuses often build down to "Who?", or "Girl wears dress, goes shopping", etc.
