Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Not just grinding my gears, but making me incoherent with rage - the anti-abortion society of my daughter's University, whose officers are, with one exception, male. The VP "doesn't believe any woman wants an abortion". Well, imagine that, a man denying the life experience of women, and believing he's more correct than any of them.

Carp, I'd be incoherent with rage too.

I think Pro-Lifers think women pop out for an abortion in the same way you might pop out to have your nails done.

Setting up the laptop at the holiday home. All fine except the mouse dongle is actually the jabra headset dongle. so I'm stuck with the touchpad instead of a mouse for the week.
I hate working by touchpad.
I may need to go and buy a new mouse. If there's any shops that sell them in Brixham.

[Turns out Amazon next day delivery is cheaper than any local options. Let's hope they find the holiday house! ]

[ New cheapo mouse just delivered. Got to love Amazon sometimes. Even better, or maybe I should have known, the dongle with it works with my mouse. I never thought of just buying a dongle thing, but turns out the cheapo mouse (with battery and dongle) is cheaper than just a dongle ]

How is it possible to ask such a simple question in such a way that I was unable to understand what you meant?

My (current) broadband company - can you actually listen to what my broadband needs are (single person household, don't do streaming/gaming) so I don't want your super speedy broadband.... and I'm not interested in the fact that you give the fastest broadband
