I had a work colleague whose name badge for a conference was accidentally changed from Louise to Lousie. She also thought it hilarious.

Glad it's not just me that continuously hits that typo. Lousie and Jospeh are two names that my fingers just don't seem able to type without the typo...

Quite a few people have called me by my last name for my first name, even people who I know know which way round the names go.
(In Spain, if required, I just give my first name as my last name, having seen the confusion produced by five letters otherwise.)

I have issues with Jospeh too. Probably about 9/10 times, I spell the typo.
My manager (Maike) has loads of mispronounciations and never bothers about correcting them, unless people think that she's a man. It's Miker and we also have another lady in our team with the same name. She has had (pronounced) Meeka, Mike, Meesha, Mikee over the years.

A friend's daughter is Miya (Mee-yah) and I have spoken to her weekly for 3 years. I still panic and have to work out if it's Mee-yah or My-yah. Very embarrassing.

I had to email someone at work called Kristy, unfortunately I spelled it Kirsty. I felt really bad when I realised but I bet I wasn’t the first to get it wrong.
