Cyclists Dismount". a) there's been no maintenance in progress for the last week - instead they've left a muddy track b) They don't have a large sign saying "Pedestrians go around" (or fly?), and I'm pretty sure an equivalent sign for motorists saying "Motorists, get out and push" would not be considered.
Wine Legs Nov 2018 8:30pm, 5 Nov 2018 4,570 posts	Quote Pin Wine Legs We have a short (in both senses of the word) underpass along the river here where it says "cyclists dismount", which is all well & good, except the path isn't wide enough for a person beside a bike to pass another person without someone/something risking a dip in said river. You also can't tell if there's someone approaching until you get down to the underpass, so efficiency & sensibility dictates that you stay on your bike, take it cautiously & respectfully, and duck...It's 4'9". Silly sign annoys me every time.
