Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

[Well, yes, Fragile. They're the slightly more tech-savvy of the people who make comments on the articles on the local press websites. But they can't spell any better, and most seemed to flunk basic manners too!]

The price of tickets for theatre, music events and sports in general. I'm not made of money for God's sake! I pick and choose what I go to carefully but even moderately priced tickets for anything makes a dent in my finances.

Mrs P and I forked out £130 for two tickets to see Ian McKellen on his one man show tour next year in Cheltenham. At £65 each, they were only mid priced seats! £90 was top whack, we weren't going to pay that! Sold out in 30 minutes from what Mrs P told me this morning.

Playing musical drawers. Have had family staying this week and it's lovely to have them, and lovely that they help out with washing etc. But if you don't know where it goes, please don't put it away! I've spent the evening opening drawers- oh, that doesn't go there, I'll put it away- opens drawer to out it away, oh, that doesn't go there etc

Seconded. Although that makes the tickets I want sound more reasonable...

my inability to articulate how uncomfortable I fell by the act of remembrance being such an overtly Christan and therefore a, sadly, divisive rather than uniting event.

I shall follow up my moan by directing it at the Everyman Theatre Cheltenham because all the other venues within a round trip travelling distance which is Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, Stratford and Birmingham, all their ticket prices whilst not cheap aren't extortionate either. Feels like I've been ripped off. What I save in petrol and expenses money for the evening I'm losing in grossly overpriced tickets! £65 at all the other mentioned locations would give me a front row seat looking up the great man's nostrils!

I could rant as well about the inconvenience of living in the middle of nowhere but it was my choice to do so and I shouldn't really complain.

Buses that have an intermediate destination on the front. E.g. the 35 goes to Elgin from Aberdeen but it may say OLDMELDRUM FOR BANFF on the front. On leaving Oldmeldrum it may say BANFF FOR BUCKIE and that then changes to BUCKIE FOR ELGIN, I suppose. The timetable says Guaranteed connection. Passengers may remain on the bus.

I cant seem to complain to Amazon with a general complaint. Spent to long going through their daft issue filtering questions and I cant locate the live chat.

I just wanted to question their packaging.

I ordered 5 x 42litre flexi buckets at the same time - the sort builders might use). I also ordered 2 hard brooms at the same time.

So instead of one box for the large flexi buckets - I got 5 x large boxes, each with one flexi bucket full of paper and surrounded by paper. (According to a colleague the packing paper wont be taken by the recycling people as its already recycled - thats a new one to me if its true).

I also got one dismantled broom in one long box that I think could easily take two or three, and another dismantled broom in a bigger long box that i reckon could take 4 or 5 brooms.

Completely over the top packaging.
