Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Fragile Do Not Bend
Also, a couple of years ago someone set up an eBay account using my email address, again pretty sure it was accidental. She bid on some things so it was a bit of a pain getting the account closed down.

Fridge etiquette, or rather the lack of it.

Three different offices* share our little kitchen area, and again I've had to be the one to put a passive aggressive note on a tub of pasta that has been in there for several weeks that is now green and stinking. I would just bin it, but it's in a good quality plastic tub that the owner might want back.

It wasn't so long ago I had to get rid of several pint bottles of 'cottage cheese'. Yuk.

*as in three different companies, not three departments of the same company.

[My ex-company had a policy - the fridges would be emptied/binned each Friday night - no matter what. People soon got the hang of it. There were very big signs on the fridge doors]

Cackleberry, can you have yourself appointed as the lead person for food hygiene or something like that? Then you can make the rules and throw out all the manky stuff.
