Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

[Jock, Fleecy, I hate the term date night even when it’s used in its “proper” context, but definitely worse when it’s your husband or wife, and actually makes me feel a little ill when people use it in relation to their kids]

The fact that I’m the ONLY person in the office who ever cleans the cafetière (note - I’m not the only person who uses it).

Train guards: NEVER fucking stop yapping at you when you’re trying to get some work done on a train. But as soon as the trains go to shit and they have no fucking idea what’s going on they fall silent. Just when some information is fucking needed.

Opinions delivered as news. Usually in the context of Sports reporting, e.g.

"Jose thinks x.
Pep Guardiola says y.
Lewis Hamilton believes z"

It's not news, don't dress it up as such !

Belgian road engineers. Specifically those involved in fucking ring roads. Every other country manages to work these out, maybe get some consultants in rather than have half your population and random British tourists caught up in the resultant carmageddon? Take a small amount of traffic and make the M25 look like a bloody picnic in comparison!

Completely agree with Fleecy. I lived in the Netherlands for a few years and regularly had to negotiate the Brussels ring road - nightmare every time.

My own gripe is about airlines who cancel flights with no explanation and without even texting or emailing notification. Was picked up by looking at a flight tracker to check status.
