Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Sigh
Drivers who decide to turn a 'merge in turn' lane into a 'give way', thereby creating a large tailback behind them.

(Other) Drivers. (Obviously I'm beyond reproach ;-).)

Road traffic layout designers who've clearly never ridden a 2 wheeled vehicle in their lives. (We have a particularly nasty little roundabout that has cycle lanes painted onto it at the outside, the wrong place, and that encourages motor vehicle drivers to wipe you out as they cut across the cycle lane.)

Pedestrians who walk down the pavement in the middle (and occupy 3 people's width doing it. Magic!).

In fact, anyone who is in my way most of the time!

I echo that MMM, also other cyclists coming towards you on a cycle path and veer to their right. As I pass them I tell them that we drive on the left in England. Still bloody annoying when you have to brake until they swerve over. :-p

And dog walkers. Obviously. :-)

(The dogs are fine - I expect nothing intelligent from dogs, and I'm rarely disappointed!)
