Both times on NHS so to say they are all butchers is nonsense. First time O wasn't running but went straight back to work after it. Second time I felt great and wanted to run same day but my wife said not to, so I did 10k the day after instead with no issues at all. Thankfully it worked this time but if it hadn't I wouldn't have thought twice about a third time. And lots of private docs are just NHS docs as well anyway, you just don't wait as long.

After making not so discreet inquiries I found out several blokes had gone through the very same experience. Several of us also received nasty infections for our troubles. I hope things have improved ...
