But I have to finish it. I never give up. I have a new book I really want to read and which I will no doubt fly through. I'm tempted to read it then return to shit book but I won't as that would be cheating. These are rules that I have imposed on myself. I think I have mental health issues.

I'm a bit like that but occasionally come up against one I simply can't do (generally arsey Booker prize winning ones that don't make sense, but I feel i ought to read anyway). Note to self - reading a book should be a pleasure. Sometimes a bit difficult but a pleasure nonetheless.
