My mate went through The Ditch for the first time today. He said it was horrible.

Well my prayers for the ditch to have some water in it were answered. Be careful what you wish for :) I was so busy trying to overtake my mate on the second lap I fell over in style and ended up clawing my way out up the bank

lol, the men's race is super packed. I went off fast to try and compensate, bad idea off so little training. At least I survived the ditch, although on the second time through, I pretty much came to a standstill as I got to the other side. A push from behind got me started again, lol.

I only did it once, but it was a better course IMO, more undulating and had it's own ditch as well, which was where Andy Money lost his shoe, lol.
