Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Mixed feelings about tonights 9.5 with 8 at MP. MP came out at about 3:10 pace when I was aiming for 3hr pace, however on reflection the HR stats suggest I wasnt putting in marathon effort

No point dwelling on the negative Baz, if your HR stats are right, you have more to give so that's good.

Chippenham HM for me on Sunday, it looks like a fairly flat course so a good time is in order. How hard do I push myself is the question though.

All in Postie. Will be good to lay down a good mark and gain some confidence ahead of the main event in October.

Baz, your mind is on Saturday's big event, clearly!

Hill reps for me tonight. Body hates me already. Did deficit deadlifts this morning and also squats for the first time in ages. May not be able to walk tomorrow.

11 x 400m tonight off 60s recoveries. Started too slow 89, 84, but then got down to 79-82, last one was 75s! The sight of two blokes in late 40s racing round a 400m track must have been a comical one indeed!

So, are we on for Sat Bazo, Lou?! :-) G

If I can 1. get away with missing morning of conference

2. don't indulge in too much vino tomorrow night

3. can walk after hill reps

4. have actually done my presentation for saturday afternoon

Talk about 3 different sessions - Bazo long with MP, Lou doing hill reps and me with short intervals! Not sure I'll have recovered either Lou, but I'll give it a go. Will be nice to see you. Hope you get your work out of the way. What fun, a 3:15 thread mini-meet! :-) G
