Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I think G has described very eloquently the whole package to run a PB. And that's why I don't know if I should run an autumn marathon. I think you really need the full focus to do it,

I could recommend 5 13 hour night shifts for weight loss - really kick started my diet - 3 pounds down in a week ;)

Congratulations on the 250 rfj

A pleasing 20 for me today which is my fifth in this campaign. Ran to feel and starts easy but picked up pace and averaged 8:07mm overall. That's by some distance the fastest long run for many years and I could have kept going.

My main worry now is how my two weeks in turkey will impact training. Due to heat and hills then eight miles per day is my limit and at no great pace. I am wondering if I should plan in some shorter intervals or hill reps.

A great two days at diamond league as well. The Chang in pace at the bell in the 5k was incredible.

In other news, I ran today and exceeded last weeks mileage in one run. Given that last week I only ran 8.5miles this wasn't hard to exceed. And, I hated at least 60% of it. I did convince myself I had a stomach ulcer due to wine induced indigestion.

Lol. I will let you raise that with mrs b and the stroppy teenagers. One of whom has declared himself broken after a day at t in the park with muscles he didnt know he had are hurting. I asked him to note his old man had just run twenty miles and is in better shape.
