Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Hi at the moment I am hovering just over the 21mins (21:13 and 21:09) being my last attempts just before the summer - at the moment I am concentrating on hills and distance training for the Macc half at the end of the month after this I will be turning my attention to getting faster at 5 and 10K - would be deliriously happy to go under 20mins for a 5K

Monthly Alexandra park in Manc is the main race I use to test/time myself over 5K and I will probably start running this again after Macc half - only thing is official timing can be a "variable" - its a small enough race to measure youreslf accurately with a stopwatch

am at 28 seconds off 20 min 5k. My problem is being bothered to make the effort to turn up at a 5k race.

Have done a 3.32 mile training run in 20:51. I thus would have passed 5k in under 20 (if my maths is corect), but to do it officially would be great. Count me in!

Ok, I'm in, 94 seconds to knock off my pb.

I've had hangovers that've lasted two days - 20 minutes of wanting to puke should be manageable

Right Chief :-)

No idea about jaws though - usually too busy not blowing chunks over the person at the end of the funnel.

No jaw buzz when running fast, but often need to sit under a tree post-run for 10 mins.
