What's not to approve or tune slightly rather than stopping it altogether. I hope your supervisor sees it the same way ....

The revised proposal was accepted; I don't have to do another viva; and my unofficial supervisor is now my official supervisor. We have pledged not to be any trouble to each other.

There's no guidance at all in the course literature, it just asks for CV and statement. I've done quite a few for job applications so am guessing it's probably similar in showing that I've got the experience and knowledge to cope with the course, plus something about why I want to do it? Any advice or tips welcome - thank you!
