Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Hi 👋

I’m over 30 minutes again after getting just under in May. I’ve not parkrunned recently but think I’m around 33 minutes atm.

I'd also forgotten. Went from (watch times) 37:05 on a bumpy trail course parkrun three weeks ago to a very surprising 31:36 on my hilly home run the next week.

And last week I went to a flat course on a calm day, and ran 28:17 :-o

And the day after that I ran a last-minute 10K race in 1:06:59.

Mind you, back to 36:50 today (home course, horrendous rain).

And well done Night-Owl: a grass course is a good bit tougher. I've only run one mainly grass course parkrun, didn't enjoy it.

Ooh I should have updated too! After trying and trying for years and getting close over the summer, I made a big jump to 27:01 in August and 26:32 in September. Then managed a 29:36 on a really tough course last week :O Big improvements recently.

Well done everyone getting there and everyone still trying!

I’m nowhere near at the moment. Closest recently was 33.48. But most importantly I’m enjoying running and I know if I do some ‘effort’ runs it’ll help improve my time. Will probably do Project joker again soon.
