Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I am over 100km down on last year and given that I was doing good running this time last year, plus did Marcothon (at least 5km a day through December) and I have been suffering from lack of motivation and then foot issues, I am not going to catch up.

Have done more than the whole of 2022 though :)

Still up. Just. Though November will be a test. And way down on some of the previous years.

On target for my 2nd lowest year ever recorded on fetch and lowest through choice.

I've not even done half of what I'd run last year and it was low.

I am 266km up on last year so far, over 50% increase. Further than every year since 2016, and have actually passed the last five years' totals already.

I started the year with a 2 weeks break due to a cold, then I missed the entire month of July and I had to cut mileage in May and June due to an ingrown toe nail so I was about 200 miles behind schedule in August. I'm rebuilding, going for about 1500-1600 this year, down from 1937 last year.

The positive is that I can aim for more miles in 2025 then in 2024 and it's more likely to happen

I've just gone past my total for 2023 with about 50 days to spare
