Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Well done, @Night-owl :)

I should get to last year's total mileage part way through September, provided nothing goes wrong.

282 miles up as things stand. A long way behind 2007 and 2009, slightly behind 2022, but generally had a good year to date for running. The cycling graph isn't a pretty sight.

I am currently at about the same distance (to within a km) of this time last year. However, as I ran a lot from September onwards last year I suspect that I will end up down on my overall 2023 figures

You're picking up again, @IdrisTheDragon. I wouldn't dream of suggesting that I can see a potential target in there for you ;)

:D And tbh I was happy with the distance I covered last year and so if I'm vaguely at the same distance that wouldn't be a problem.

I passed my 2023 total mileage yesterday. 1362 at the end of 2023, currently on 1366. I'm also ahead of this point in every year apart from 2007 and 2009. I don't expect to catch either of those years.

Similar here- still 140km behind last year's total but may well pass it this month, and running ahead of every year but 2020 and 2021 which are going to be very hard to catch. I put in a 100 mile week in 2020 just to see if I could.

40 miles ahead of last year now. So I've beaten last year because I didn't run another step cos I got injured.

The cycling tho............many miles behind :-)
